was such a nice comfortable and clean spot to come "home" to after long
days of exploring this awesome island. This was a perfect ending to

The pictures on your website do not do this home from
home justice. As soon as we walked in, we fell in love with the
place and after a day's hiking, we couldn't wait to get back to simply
enjoy all that this Chalet has to offer. We are leaving with heavy
hearts this morning, as our time spent here in the National Park and the
Chalet has been unforgettable but at least we will be taking some
wonderful memories home with us. Thank you for all your efforts in
making this such a great place to stay in !

What a wonderful, relaxing
vacation home. The Chalet is beautiful and well equipped! We
had a lovely time here - got a lot of rest! Enjoyed the fireplace &
Hot Tub. WE spent most days exploring Volcano Nat'l Park in search
of lava! We hiked for over 10 hours on the lava fields the other day
and saw a spectacular show of glow into the ocean at dusk! bring
lots of water, wear good shoes, etc. Most importantly have reliable
flashlights with you w/ extra batteries. Yesterday we took a Safari
helicopter out of Hilo to see the Volcano from above. It is
spectacular. We also went out to Akaka Falls. There is much to
do and see here. I hope well be back someday. Now we are off
to Kona for a couple of days. Thank you ( Mahalo) for a great

It was truly a pleasure to
enjoy the beauty & hospitality that Pele has to offer in the beautiful
place called Volcano. From the rain on the roof as you go to sleep
to the birds singing their lovely song as you wake, it is truly a special
house. Thank you for thinking of everything... as there is nothing
better than warm towels, a "comfy" robe, and a mug of Kona Coffee!

This place is incredible. Besides being one of
the cleanest places we have ever stayed, the amenities are great.
Everything you need to make your home away from home is here. The
surroundings are amazing, with the sounds of nature ever present to keep
us company. Proximity to the Park is great , and after our long days
of hiking the hot tub under the trees was the perfect place to relax.
